Hi my dear book friends! How are you all?
Today I have the pleasure to bring to you a book that touches not just one but two sensitive subjects; human trafficking and autism. I bet you are thinking ‘how is that even possible’, to get two very different subjects and link them together into a great book?
Well, my friends the author of this book, Ms. Idelle Kursman, has done just that!
Thank you very much, @Idelle, for sending me a copy of your book for my honest opinion!
Let me tell you a bit about the book. It is set in America, Russia and Moldova at the same time and it moves at an amazing pace. It opens with a scene that hooks you through and through and continues to do so right till the end.
The leading lady, Marina, is found to be a victim of human trafficking who somehow ends up meeting up with Adam, an autistic young man, who has recently lost his mother and currently lives with his father, Bruce. You may read the description of the book on Goodreads.

Would I read another book from this author: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Overall rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The book is filled with action but not the kind you are used to. It’s different! It gives you the story of Marina, who went through so many horrible things, combined with the story of Adam and his dad, Bruce, that are trying hard to find their balance now that they have lost Adam’s mum.
Adam is such a sweet young man and the book does a great job in showing the reader the difficulties that a parent faces in bringing up an autistic child but it also showcases the awesomeness that autistic individuals have (their sweetness and kindness at heart being the most prominent).
I found that the book also had great supporting characters that added to the depth and pace of the story.
My review would not be complete if I did not mention that the writing is very clear and coherent and I did not have any problem whatsoever while reading it. In my opinion this would classify this book as an awesome holiday read!
If you are looking for an action packed story, that will make you laugh and…cry a bit (yes! it had me teary eyed at a couple of parts!) to read at the beach this summer then this is the book for you!
I hope you enjoyed the review and thank you for stopping by to read it!
Till next time.
